从海啸和孩子的外表看，这是一对平凡的夫妻。而且，爱拉的妹妹一个也看起来很平凡，是个打工的女人。但是他们之间有不能说的苦衷。海啸和哀悼虽然白天很平凡，但到了晚上，只要一有睡觉的地方，海啸就会变得很尴尬。爱拉为这样的丈夫努力，但因为不能随心所欲而苦恼。还有一个爱拉的弟弟说要去打工但是不平凡的兼职就这样三个人若无其事地住在一个屋檐下。但是爱拉想摆脱和一个无聊、毫无意义的丈夫之间的性爱。而且，爱拉和海啸终于实现了变化。但是这三个人的变化并不是按照自己想要的方向发展，而是越来越不顺。
