Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.  影片改编自真人真事。讲述了1960年代美国黑人社团黑豹党历史上的真实事件，故事聚焦于Hampton之死，他于1969年被杀，死于芝加哥警察局和FBI组织的一次突袭行动。警方开了80枪，而“黑豹党”成员一共只开了一枪，这一枪还是来自于一位成员被警方打死后的肌肉收缩。Hampton与怀孕的未婚妻正在睡觉时，头部被近距离射杀2枪，他当晚被下了药，根本没听见任何警方的动静，死后尸体被拖进小巷中，年仅21岁。经过审讯，他的死被判定为“正当杀人”，后来在1982年，以185万美元的赔偿数额，达到了民事诉讼的庭外和解。

　　该取材于武穴市4000多名党员下社区、进小区，通过党建引领老旧小区改造的故事：建于上世纪七、八十年代的老油厂小区，有9栋楼160多户居民，是一个典型的无物管、无主管部门、无人防物防的“三无”小区。这里许多居民乱搭乱建杂物间、小车棚，下水道破损无人维修，生活污水横流，居住环境十分恶劣。有条件的住户外出购房搬离后，又将这里的房子出租出去，导致这儿的居住环境更加复杂。龙潭社区主任张昊阳借老旧小区改造之际，做活党建+的文章，派出社区片警樊玉锋任第一支部书记，引导居民开展“法治、德治、自治”。在社区工作者和小区党支部+业主委员会的共同努力下，解决了一批居民急难愁盼的事，终于让居住在这里的近千名群众生活出现了新业态。

　　这部灾难影片背景以现代日本为中心，主要描写东京突然被一股莫名的浓雾所笼罩，整个都会好像一下子消失了似的，各地政府及科研人员因此极为震惊，急忙组织起来研究对策。但是人们却无法穿越浓雾进入东京首都圈。这场浓雾形成了一个无法穿越的电磁屏障。而圈外的科学家们则在受损严重的军用侦察机上得到灵感，利用即将到来的台风和雷暴雨，加上人工大功率电磁干扰机，终于化解了这场戏剧般的非自然危机。　　这原本该是一个不错的富有戏剧张力的构思，但拍出来的片子却教人不敢叫好，剧中女记者的角色刻划不具感染力，而她和男记者之间时好时坏的关系描写也让人感觉莫名其妙，确是让观众感觉象一场雾。
