　　Robbins is sentenced to prison for the assassination of his general officer, a prison you leave only when you die. Since nobody ever leaves the prison, nobody knows what the prison is like.  为了寻找在派对中失踪的大学生，两名携带录像设备的私家侦探闯入了一幢空房子，并在其中发现数卷神秘录影带：1）男人米德尔顿植入了能记录影像和声音的义眼，他在家中却看到恐怖的影像；2）在国家公园丛林里骑车的麦克碰到一个满身伤痕、呕吐黑水的女人，接下来一群恐怖丧尸慢慢向他靠近。被丧尸咬了后，男子的身体渐渐发生变化；3）某剧组造访一个神秘教派，天堂般美好的表象下，恐怖气息蔓延，他们偏偏赶上魔王降临人间；4）父母不在的湖边住宅，孩子们放肆玩耍。夜深人静之际，强烈的光芒突然闪过，神秘生物进入屋内，意外频现。诡异的录影带，将观看者引向黑暗深处……

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
